Hi, I’m Linda!
I’m so glad you found me, and I can’t wait to learn about your wedding!
A little about me: I’m originally from Chicago, but moved to Washington, D.C., in 2001 for my first job after I graduated school. I have a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in science journalism. I’m a senior editor at a science magazine.
So why photography? Well, it actually makes sense. My dad is an organic chemist, my mom is an artist, and I got the best of both worlds!
I started photographing weddings in 2006 after my then-boyfriend (now husband) noticed my passion for photographing people. He suggested I give wedding photography a try, and I quickly realized that it was a perfect match. I guess husbands know best!
Trained as a journalist and with the genes of an artist, my style combines creative photojournalism with clean, artistic compositions. My goal is to tell the story of your wedding day in a timeless and beautiful way.
Take a look around, and if you love my style, let’s grab coffee and get to know each other. You can reach me at linda@lindawangphotography.com. I can’t wait to hear about your wedding, and I hope we’re a perfect match!
